Two wells off was always going to test the momentum we were building, but the way we started it was like we hadn’t missed a beat. Against a team fighting for a top 4 spot, we flew out of the blocks with a try in the opening minute. From there it was more of a grind with the ref blowing his whistle regularly, which meant we were not able to get any rhyme in the game.
We defended well for long periods where we had little possession and took the few opportunities we had in attack. Again the guys off the bench ensured we finished the game well in a 24-15 win.
