Women’s Rugby as healthy as ever at Canberra Royals

With Canberra Royal’s AGM and Xmas drinks fast approaching the club would like to recognise and celebrate the achievements of our women in the game.

Get down to the clubhouse on Sunday 4th from 4pm onwards to raise a glass or two to all our our Super W and Wallaroos.

Asked to comment on the 2022 season, Royals board member and former player Christine Murray said, “Royals has a very proud history of women’s rugby. Producing over 22 international players for the Australian Women’s 15’s and the Wallaroos. This is by far, the most successful club in this regard. We could not have been prouder of our women who represented themselves, our club, our city and Australia with such grit, determination and excellence in play. We were cheering loudly for you all from in the clubhouse, at the pub, in the stadium and in front of our TVs. We are proud of you and we are inspired by you.  And a special welcome home to Grace Kemp, Michaela Leonard and Sharnie Williams.”
