This week saw our 10s Women take on the Hall Bushrangers at home. Superstar guest coach Louise Burrows had the girls on their toes. While the scores were tight (only one point in it in the end), Royals ran out victors 27-26.
Players player of the match in only her third game was Emma Smith. She displayed tackling skills and confidence that a 400 game veteran would be proud of. Not to mention some blinding runs up the middle. Tas impressed with her innate ability to pick and find a gap that was never there to score some impressive tries. Our forward pack showed impressive gains in the set piece. However, it was the team connection, cohesiveness and general good spirit that makes this team something extraordinary to watch. The women clearly enjoy rugby and each other. Well done.
