Canberra Royals Rugby Union Football Club is seeking applications from suitably qualified people for the position of First Grade Coach and Technical Director Coaching.
The First Grade Coach and Technical Director Coaching is responsible for leading:
- The club’s player and coaching resources
- Royals Rugby ‘on-field and player’ operations – including training and game-day preparation and administration, player development, player retention and player welfare.
Royals was established in 1949 and has a proud history as the ACT’s most successful club team. We field seven sides in Canberra’s senior rugby union competitions. Royals’ First Grade Men’s and First Grade Women’s teams are the 2020 Premiers, with the Colts (Under 20’s) 2020 Grand Finalists.
Royals is active in the development of rugby in the Canberra and surrounding region. In addition, Royals juniors club fields teams in the ACT junior rugby competition and conducts development programs in primary schools throughout the Woden and Weston Creek area.
