A new Women’s Head Coach for the new season

Canberra Royals are excited to announce their new W15s Head Coach, Scot Izod.  Scott is looking forward to this challenge and has keen to hit the ground running.

Scott goes on…. “I have been lucky enough to have been exposed to a number of Women’s programs in Canberra as Head Coach of Wests Women, Australian Women’s Police Rugby Union, AFP Women’s Rugby, Asst Coach to Easts Women and Asst to Brumbies Women’s 7s program.

I have a number of strategies and management principles I use to develop players skills and mindset to improve both team cohesion and synergy. This includes allowing players to take ownership of training sessions, creating solutions to issues identified and having open and honest dialogue.”

The players, board, members and fans would like to welcome Scott to the club and can’t wait for the 2023 season.
