The ACT & SNSW Kestrels have finalised their squad ahead of their opening fixture at the Australian Rugby Shield against the SA Black Falcons on Wednesday the 11th of October at 11AM.
Looking to improve on last years performance at the tournament and claim the top prize, this first match will be one to keep your eyes on as the side needs to start strong.
Head Coach of the side James Erwin says he is excited to see a number of Kestrels debutants get their opportunity early in the tournament to set the tone.
“I am looking forward to seeing Ellie Burnett and Emily Hudson in action after a great start to the week. Janiana Ravu and Bonnie Brewer will be strong also, directing the team around well, off the back of their great club season together.
“The focus for first game is to set the standard for the week, by earning the right to play our tempo, and setting the tone with our defensive work rate and dominating the tackle contest.”
