Another good win for second grade against a team that had everything to play for as we moved closer to semis. Our defense again came to the fore, with Uni having plenty of possession, they only cracked our line on one occasion.
The game proved to be the tussle we expected, with limited opportunities and not a lot of continuity. We took our chances well when they were offered, particularly off the back of some strong set piece plays from the forwards. Pleasingly we stayed in the game for the full 70 minutes and got the result with some composed play, that will set us up well come finals time.
Tries to Pearso and Tareq were both converted by Sam M, who also added a penalty to make the final score 17-13.
