Royals welcome home their Wallaroos and unveil new digital honours board

“About bloody time!” was just one of the comments offered up at the unveiling of Canberra Royals new digital honors board.

Royals have always be proud of their record of producing numerous Wallabies and even more Wallaroos throughout its illustrious history.  “We have been rather slow to update images and records on our international honours wall” Said Wayne Jones (Canberra Royals GM).  “We have been particularly slow keeping up with our conveyor belt of Royals Womens players who have been internationally capped.”

This new digital board allows us to get up-to-date and stay up-to-date”  Added Jim Taylor, Royals President.

Grace Kemp who is the latest addition to the honour board was happy to be recognised but was happier still that she could now sit alongside club legends like Louise “Cookie” Burrows and Sharnie Williams.
