A tough loss in our first real test of the season, going down to Vikings 15-13 at the death. We were well in the contest and dominant at the set piece. Our dominant scrum and lineout laid the platform for us to maintain possession and control large parts of the game. Unfortunately some lapses in defence kept the opposition within striking distance, which ultimately gave them the win with a converted try at the death. A good effort by the boys, who stuck with it till the end and some good work off the bench from our reserves. A lone try to Sam A, converted by Liam M, with two penalty goals added made up our 13 points. On to another big test against Wests in R3.
