Royals took to the field in high spirits after last weekend’s win ready for another tough high scoring
game against Queanbeyan. While it was again still not clear who was in the starting teams across
both 4 th grade and 3 rd grade on Saturday morning, a new number of old and bolds and debutantes all
combined for a good hit out with Adam McAullife and Brendan Woodward returning to the field and
Villiami Vailea making his Royals Debut.
Royals took an early lead thanks to Villiami scoring within the first 10 minutes of the game. However,
Whites were able to return those points scoring moments later. Jacob Bindley who had an
outstanding game was able to help Royals turn the momentum with the next round of points being
added to the score board. Villiami and Sione Mau made the score promising leading into half time.
Whites came out strong in the second half and were able to put a few tries on Royals. Thanks to
Brendan Woodward and Jacob Bindley for a second time putting points on the board Royals walked
away with another win for the season.
In a game that was far from easy for both teams with a lot of determination and grit shown out on
the field, the final score was 39 to 31 to the Mighty Fourths.
Tries were scored by; Villiami Vailea (2), Jacob Bindley (2), Sione Mau and Brendan Woodward, with
a penalty try rounding out the try scoring
