RAFFLE TICKET TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The 750 Club Raffle is operated and promoted by and to the benefit of Canberra Royals Rugby Union Football Club Inc (Canberra Royals), 160 Ainsworth Street, Phillip, ACT, 2606.
  2. The raffle is open to anyone 18 years or over.
  3. Tickets must be purchased online via the Canberra Royals Clubland Website at www.royalsrugby.com.au.
  4. Canberra Royals accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, unpaid or not confirmed via issuance of an electronic ticket from the Clubland platform.
  5. To purchase a ticket, entrants must enter their details as directed on the web page and make the appropriate payment.
  6. Tickets are $100 each.
  7. A maximum of 750 tickets will be sold.
  8. All correctly completed entries will be entered into the prize draw which will take place on Saturday 27 July 2024 at 10:00pm.
  9. The draw will take place at the Canberra Royals 75th Year Gala Ball, to be held at the Hellenic Club, 1 Matilda Street, Phillip, ACT, 2606, by random draw from a bucket of tickets, one per ticket sold, by a Canberra Royals Board member in the presence of at least two other witnesses.
  10. The draw will identify the winner of the single cash prize of $25,000. There is no secondary prize available.
  11. The winner drawn at the abovementioned time and date is final but the winner is not required to be present in order for that person to claim the prize.
  12. In the event unforeseen circumstances result in the event being cancelled, Canberra Royals reserves the right to postpone the draw with notice to be provided to ticket holders via email.
  13. The winner will be formally notified via email on Monday 29 July 2024.
  14. The winner must acknowledge their raffle win within 60 days of Canberra Royals sending notification. If the winner does not acknowledge their raffle win within the required timeframe, a redraw will take place at 6.00pm on Monday 30th September 2024 at the Canberra Royals Clubhouse located at 160 Ainsworth Street, Phillip ACT 2606.
  15. The winner may be published on Canberra Royals’ website and social media platforms as well as in a newsletter to Canberra Royals’ supporter database.
  16. Canberra Royals may enter any data submitted by entrants into the club database to be used for supporter communication and future fundraising.
  17. Canberra Royals may disqualify any entrant whose entry does not comply with these terms and conditions (in Canberra Royals’ sole opinion) or who, in Canberra Royals’ sole determination, has acted in a manner that is fraudulent, dishonest or unjust to other entrants including, without limitation, tampering with the operation of the prize draw, manipulating ticket sales, hacking, deceiving or cheating.
  18. By entering the raffle each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  19. These terms and conditions are governed in accordance with the ACT Government’s Lotteries Act 1964.
