A special moment for one of our own

Jarrah McLeod has been named on the Brumbies bench and is in line to make his Super Rugby debut this weekend against Moana Pasifika.

Jarrah it is an absolute pleasure to see you earn a spot on the bench for the Brumbies this week. You have come such a long way since arriving from Nowra a few years ago.

Watching your growth as a player has been truly special, you are brutal in defence and attack sometimes with no regard for your own body but I know all the lads you play with lift a notch with you out there. From club rugby, to the Australian U20s, and then stamping your authority on an international fixture against the Lions while representing your culture with the Pacifica First Nations team was nothing short of amazing.

Even more impressive, though, is the person you have become. You have matured so quickly bought into what the club is about and have established yourself as a leader at Royals, both on and off the field. It’s always a pleasure to see that cheeky grin and hear your laugh around the club, and I know everyone is incredibly proud of everything you’ve achieved in such a short time with us.

All the very best for the game, I have no doubt you’ll go well. We will all be cheering you on.
