WHAT IS ROYALS TARGET FOR MEMBERSHIP?
Royals target is to get to 1,000 members which we hope to achieve in line with Royals Rugby Club 70th Anniversary Celebrations in 2019. We will announce our milestones along the way in the Royals Newsletter to keep you informed.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS FOR ROYALS IF I BECOME A MEMBER?
In times when Licensed Venues are under increasing pressure and less financial support is available from peak bodies these memberships are seen as a new way of diversifying Royals income stream and at the same time be able to keep in touch with our members. Not only will there be a financial benefit for Royals but there will also be a strengthened position for Royals when negotiating with any third parties.
WHO CAN BECOME A ROYALS MEMBER?
Royals memberships are targeted at past players and supporters but anybody with an interest in supporting Royals Rugby Club can become a member.
HOW DO I SIGN UP TO BE A MEMBER?
Go to https://royalsrugby.com.au/membership/royals-owner-membership/ tab and follow the prompts. Choose an option of yearly or monthly membership and click subscribe. Payments are secure via Paypal and If you do not have a Paypal account you will be prompted to set up an account. Paypal is a very safe platform for payers, used by over 6 million Australians.
HOW MUCH IS IT TO BECOME A MEMBER?
Cost of membership is $100 annually or $10 a month (extra $20 across 12 months covers additional processing charges). You will be prompted to select one of these two options upon joining.
WHAT WILL APPEAR ON MY BANK STATEMENT?
Your bank statement for each debit will show as PAYPAL *ROYALSRUGBY xxxxxxxxxx
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS FOR MEMBERS?
The benefits for members are listed in the Royals Membership tab to view prior to subscribing to become an Owner Member.
HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY MEMBERS TAG?
Your members tag will be mailed out to you.
HOW DO I KNOW IF MY MEMBERSHIP IS EXPIRED?
Royals have attempted to make this a simple exercise for both parties so once you have signed up you can set and forget knowing your support of royals is ongoing and your membership will not expire until you opt out. Membership and payments will continue annually or monthly depending upon which option you have chosen.
HOW DO I OPT OUT AND CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP?
To opt out and cancel your Owner Membership login to your Paypal account and follow the prompts to cancel your subscription. Royals will get notification of this via e-mail.
WHAT HAPPENS WITH MY PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Any personal information you provide will be used by Royals in maintaining its membership database and used exclusively by Royals and not passed onto any third parties.
ROYALS HAVE ATTEMPTED A MEMBERSHIP DRIVE BEFORE. HOW DO I KNOW THIS MEMBERSHIP WILL BE ONGOING?
Royals acknowledge that a previous attempt has helped us refine our membership to this model. Previously we tried to include too many benefits which were labour intensive from Royals end and charge too much for this to prospective members. Royals have reduced the price of membership to better reflect membership and include benefits that will always be ongoing and available.
